At Grounded, we’re creating a community-driven space built on trust, collaboration, and shared values. These agreements ensure a fair, supportive, and sustainable experience for everyone.

Being Part of the Grounded Community
Maintain your space by keeping it stocked, organized, and labeled. Stay connected by notifying us of inventory changes or restocking needs. Engage with marketing by resharing social posts, updating customers when you restock, and participating in promotions. We welcome collaborations, including giveaway items, samples, and creative ideas (optional).

 

Payments & Sales
Vendor rental is $100/month (+HST), paid via automatic subscription. Payments are due the last day of each month for the upcoming month. If rent is unpaid for two months, we’ll check in, but products may need to be removed. Vendors keep 100% of sales; an optional 13% service fee at checkout supports store operations. Bi-weekly payouts are sent via EMT (starting March 14). Confirm your EMT deposit email. No returns are accepted—customers may exchange an item with vendor approval.

 

Stocking & Inventory
Vendors are responsible for managing their own inventory. We will notify you if stock is running low, but restocking is your responsibility. If shipping inventory, provide pre-labeled items and display instructions so we can set up your space accordingly.

 

Marketing & Promotion
Vendors will be featured in social media, email newsletters, website spotlights, in-store promotions, and displays. Vendors are expected to reshare tagged social posts, post updates when restocking, and engage with promotions when possible.

 

Safety, Inclusivity & Alignment
Vendors must have product liability insurance—Grounded is not liable for product issues. We are actively anti-racist, 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive, and disability-affirming. If a product does not align with our values of equity, inclusion, and community care, we will discuss it with you and may remove it if necessary.

 

Leaving Grounded
Vendors must provide 30 days' notice before leaving. All inventory must be removed by the end of the final month. Any unclaimed products after one month will be donated to the community.

Land Acknowledgement 

Grounded and The One in Five Project operate on the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, part of the larger territories of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples. We recognize that we are settlers on this land and are committed to ongoing learning, unlearning, and taking meaningful action toward reconciliation.
